- Why we collect it: This background location access is strictly required to automatically recalculate solar midday as you move across different time zones or regions, ensuring your clock widget and optional notifications remain accurate without requiring you to manually update your position.
We do not collect, store, or transmit your location data to any external servers. All astronomical calculations (solar apex determinations) are performed locally on your device.

We use the collected location data solely for the following purposes:
- To compute local solar midday using astronomical algorithms based on your current geographic coordinates.
- To update your clock widget and deliver optional local notifications regarding solar events.
